Bucket list! One of the 7 wonders of the world and it was worth seeing! Buy tickets ahead of time and hire a guide! The lines are hours long and we went to the front with our guide! Check the weather before going because some of our friends went on a cloudy day, and they were unable to see the top of Christ. We went on a hot day, and it was HOT, but there are places to get food and drinks. It's worth going though!!!

Interesting, I can see why people go. Today is still considered off-season, if what we experienced was small crowds I hate to see a full house. It’s not a religious site, so when people push you out of the way to take pictures you have to wonder what they do at their house of worship parking lot. Maybe getting there as it opens would be better. Positive would be the views and understanding of the concept of how it was built. We took a tour bus which took us to the hotel from there it was a bus to the top. If you’re in shape take the steps, if not take the elevator and escalator.

Of course, it was worth the visit when in Rio, I would recommend booking in advance and coming early as the train to go up takes some time. Or you can also take an Uber ride to the top. But I highly recommend the train as it's a very nice ride through the jungle with some views of the city. It might be packed at the top. We had a guide, which was helpful as he was able to jump the queue.

Tourists flock this spot, as Christ the Redeemer statue is one of the new 7 wonders of the world. 20minutes train ride to the top is an easy option. There's a chapel beneath the statue. The Sugarloaf mountain is visible from here. Always a crowded place.

This is a return visit for me, this time with my family. We thoroughly enjoyed it. There is a few flights of stairs/steps at the top, highly recommended if you still have healthy knees. Else join the line for the elevator. The iPhone15 wide mode did the job perfectly and the 5x zoom let me take a close shot of Jesus. Love it! And of course, I have a lot to thank the weather for as well :)

Definitely the best view over Rio de Janeiro! Despite being very busy, the view definitely is worth it. You will have to take a train from the bottom towards the top, from descending the train you can take an elevator or just climb the stairs to the top. From that point you can see almost the entire city. Up there are coffee shops and gift shops so you can spend some good time.

You have to visit if you’re in Rio, and it’s amazing enough to deserve 5 stars. My review is more of the small tactical things that may make your visit better: Arrive early. Before 8:30 early. I booked the 7:20 am train departure, but ended up going up the hill at 7:40. By the time I was leaving at 9am the line was well out to the street and trains going up the hill were standing room only. Bring a hat, the direct sun can be brutal! Bring water as well. If you go early beware the cafe is not open until 9am. Overall be prepared for the lines and rude people going to get shots for the Gram.

One must not miss this attraction in Rio De Janeiro. A 20 min train ride to the top but due to the usual crowds even on weekday and off shoulder periods, you’ll have to wait for the electric train. As you board the train, try to take the seats on the right hand side for a better view of the bay. After you get off at the fourth and last stop, take an elevator to the base of the statue. Saves you about 6 flights of stairs. Finally, manoeuvre your way in the maddening crowd to take the best pics of the statue and the panoramic scenery.
